The Day of Pentecost

Jesus promised to send a Helper, the Holy Spirit, who would empower his disciples to do his work. In this lesson, children will learn about the Day of Pentecost and hear stories of those early Christians and also learn the truth that God is the one who helps Christians share the gospel. Children will be challenged to take the good news to those around them with the help of the Holy Spirit who empowers them to be witnesses for Christ. The Day of Pentecost reminds us that the Holy Spirit came to be our Helper who empowers us to follow Jesus and share his gospel with others.
