What is an Attribute?

If you were going to describe a giraffe, what words would you use? You might use words like tall, yellow, and spotted. If you were going to describe yourself what would you say? You might talk about what you look like or what you do. Words that describe someone or something are called attributes. God has attributes too! God’s attributes describe what God is like to help us know and enjoy him. This foundational lesson will help children begin to learn about the attributes of God.
