Do you have a favorite day of the week? Nate could hardly wait for Friday
because that was the day his family made pizza for Jesus! How do you think they

Every Friday after school Nate’s family made pizza—lots of pizza! Mom used the
biggest bowl in the house to mix the dough while Nate fried bacon and opened
cans of pineapple, his favorite toppings. The other kids and teenagers in his
family carefully sliced onions, chopped peppers, and prepared sauce, cheese,
ham, and pepperoni. “Hurry,” Mom said. “They’ll be here soon.”
Soon guests began to arrive—lots of guests! There were friends from church,
neighbors, relatives, and some new people Nate had never met before. It didn’t
matter if someone was different, dirty, young, old, or unpopular. They were
welcome at Friday night pizza. It was more than a pizza party— it was a way to
show all kinds of people that Jesus loved them.

We’ve been doing “Family Church” at home for a few weeks recently. We’ve used the St. Patrick, Pizza for Jesus, and 4th of July lessons. My kids (ages 3 to 12) absolutely love them! We’ve had a blast learning and growing as a family. The lesson plans make it super easy to follow along. I can’t wait for more of them to be available. Thanks for all you do!!!!
