If you cut a branch from a grapevine, will it grow grapes on its own? No. It will die. In a similar way, God wants to grow the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, but it won’t happen automatically. Jesus saws we are like branches. Like the branch needs to stay connected to the vine to stay alive and grow good things, kids need Jesus to give new life and help them grow good things like love, joy, kindness, and self-control. This final lesson on the fruit of the Spirit will encourage children to abide in Christ and grow fruit for God as they stay close to Jesus.
