The Leader’s Guide prepares you for a 10-15-minute weekly conversation with the child. You are equipped to provide support and encouragement as the child pursues a personal relationship with God.

God longs to be in intimate relationship with people, including children. The relationship of a shepherd with his sheep is unique, personal and tender. This is how God desires to relate to us. He longs to show compassion, give what is best, guide, and protect.
Children naturally depend on others. Their hearts quickly respond with love and attachment towards those who care for them and love them well. What better time of life to help them establish this same love and affection for God, their good shepherd, than while they are still young?
The daily and weekly activities in this devotional are designed to help children interact personally with God and learn to follow their good shepherd.
